Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a M365 Specialist to engineer, configure, and operate core M365 and Azure environments within a strict governance framework. This long-term engagement starts with a 12‑month contract, with extensions through to March 2029, and offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

The role covers M365 engineering and operations, identity and access management, Azure administration, security and compliance, and L2/L3 incident resolution, plus

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in M365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams governance.
• Advanced Microsoft Entra ID management, conditional access, MFA, and least-privilege administration.
• Azure subscription management, RBAC, and core networking/security fundamentals.
• L2/L3 support background, ITIL change/incident processes, and automation using PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and operate core M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related workloads.
• Implement and maintain identity controls using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Manage Azure resources, subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, and identity integrations.
• Enforce security baselines and governance standards.
• Investigate and resolve complex platform incidents and changes.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks for audits.
