Job summary

Collective Shift Pty Ltd is seeking a System Administrator to own our internal systems and SaaS environment. You’ll maintain, secure, and optimize our stack, automate processes, and document workflows while supporting staff across the business.

Reporting to the Engineering Lead, this hybrid role requires at least 5 years in a similar position and will involve collaborating with engineering and non-technical teams from our Cremorne office. Melbourne-based with 3+ days onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent communication with non-technical users.
• Experience with managing SaaS access and workflows.
• Ability to document systems clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 internal support and troubleshoot issues.
• Own day-to-day administration of internal systems and SaaS tools.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, access provisioning and audits.
• Train staff to use tools confidently and effectively.
• Bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create clear documentation for systems and processes.
• Translate team requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Design and maintain system integrations and data flows.
• Improve workflows to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
• Collaborate with software development on improvements and reporting.
