Job summary

Stake seeks an IT Operations Engineer in Sydney to build and maintain the operational backbone of the business. You will own the technology environment, drive automation, and partner with Security, People and Technology teams to improve resilience and compliance.

The role is hybrid, three days in our Sydney office, with a strong focus on scalable, secure internal operations. You will collaborate across teams to streamline processes, enhance the employee experience and enable Stake to scale

Qualifications

• Experience managing modern workplace technology environments across SaaS platforms, endpoint management and identity systems.
• Ability to build operational excellence, scalability, reliability and efficiency in IT operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining momentum.
• Clear communication and stakeholder relationship skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve Stake's technology environment to support people, systems and workflows.
• Automate processes and tooling to remove friction and improve efficiency.
• Strengthen identity, access and device management while preserving a seamless employee experience.
• Increase visibility through monitoring, reporting and service management across key IT services.
• Develop scalable onboarding, offboarding and device lifecycle processes for a growing global team.
