Job summary

WSP is seeking an IT Onsite Support Specialist to provide responsive, customer-focused technology support across the Sydney office and regional sites. You’ll resolve incidents and guide users on end-user devices, apps and collaboration tools.

Reporting to the IT Onsite Support Lead AU, you’ll maintain day-to-day IT services, support onboarding/offboarding, and troubleshoot Teams Rooms and AV systems while adhering to ITIL ITSM practices.

Qualifications

• Qualification in a computing discipline and/or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an IT support function.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about IT service delivery and the end-user experience.
• Broad knowledge of end-user computing including desktop, OS, peripherals and collaboration technologies.
• Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, VPN.
• High-level competency in Microsoft 365 apps and services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Experience with ServiceNow, ITSM processes and ITIL methodologies is desirable.
• ITIL v4 Foundations Certification is desirable.
• Driver’s Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd-level desktop, laptop and mobile device support and resolve or escalate incidents.
• Deliver client-focused support with clear communication and timely resolution.
• Provide deskside support and guidance to users with varying technical knowledge.
• Maintain day-to-day onsite IT services and assist onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Support meetings and collaboration tech, including Teams Rooms and AV systems.
• Install, configure and support standard hardware/software and manage asset lifecycle.
• Record activities in ServiceNow and adhere to ITSM processes.
• Collaborate with regional teams and participate in deployments and office changes.
