Job summary

Monks is seeking an IT Office Support Specialist to join our Sydney office, providing hands-on IT support, asset management, and face-to-face service. You will be the primary on-site contact for hardware/software issues and help maintain a well-organized IT-enabled workspace.

Join the Global IT team to support in-office devices, meeting room tech, and IT processes while collaborating with colleagues. The role focuses on Sydney with some broader IT support across teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
• Knowledge of macOS and Windows.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Jamf, CrowdStrike, Office365, Slack, Freshservice.
• Printer troubleshooting and maintenance experience; setting up meeting room hardware/software.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site contact for technical issues. Provide first-line support for troubleshooting (Mac/Windows).
• Install, support, and maintain in-office hardware and software. Diagnose/repair/replace IT equipment.
• Ensure meeting room equipment functions; support presentations and events; assist with office moves.
• Maintain inventory, ISO documentation, asset tracking, and equipment lifecycle/recycling.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding IT equipment and new-hire setups.
• Keep IT documentation and policies up to date.
• Assist deploying new applications and technical solutions.
• Support the wider IT team via FreshService tickets and Slack.
• Build strong relationships with Monks staff and promote team collaboration.
