Job summary

Employer Sponsored Jobs in Sydney seeks Senior Network Engineers for long-term, onsite roles with a banking client. You will design, build and hand over critical network infrastructure, focusing on Cisco ASA policies, Cisco ACI/APIC, and F5 GTM/LTM configurations for large migrations.

Visa sponsorship and onshore eligibility are available; candidates must reside in Sydney and hold a valid work visa. Strong change control and documentation experience required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Cisco ASA environments.
• Extensive experience with Cisco ACI/APIC environments.
• Proven track record deploying enterprise firewall policies.
• Expertise configuring F5 GTM and LTM appliances.
• Ability to design and deploy networking for large migrations.

Responsibilities

• Take high-level design specs and translate to firewall configs on Cisco ASA and deploy across ACI.
• Carry out passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
• Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM to spread traffic.
• Use F5 integration to maintain HA and DR compliance.
• Draft and run change control with rollback procedures.
• Monitor network performance post-deployment and document for handover.
