Employer Sponsored Jobs in Sydney seeks Senior Network Engineers for long-term, onsite roles with a banking client. You will design, build and hand over critical network infrastructure, focusing on Cisco ASA policies, Cisco ACI/APIC, and F5 GTM/LTM configurations for large migrations.

Visa sponsorship and onshore eligibility are available; candidates must reside in Sydney and hold a valid work visa. Strong change control and documentation experience required.

Responsabilités

• Take high-level design specs and translate to firewall configs on Cisco ASA and deploy across ACI.
• Carry out passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
• Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM to spread traffic.
• Use F5 integration to maintain HA and DR compliance.
• Draft and run change control with rollback procedures.
• Monitor network performance post-deployment and document for handover.

A banking client in Sydney is modernising its infrastructure and technology, and the IT consultancy delivering the work needs several Senior Network Engineers on long-term contracts. The consultancy has served government, finance, telecommunications and enterprise organisations since 2003.

The employer wants engineers who can take a design, build the critical networking pieces behind each large migration phase and hand them over in good order. Firewall policy on Cisco platforms and F5 traffic management sit at the centre of the job.

Visa sponsorship and existing visa takeover opportunities are available. Every role is strictly onsite in Sydney, so the employer is looking for onshore people living in the city who hold a valid work visa.

• Living in Sydney and holding a valid work visa (strictly onsite roles)
