Job summary

FinXL Professional Services seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join our consulting team in Sydney. You will design, implement, and hand over complex networking constructs to support a major infrastructure modernization program.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI/APIC, and F5 GTM/LTM, plus solid firewall policy deployment and capacity planning. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, and APIC environments.
Proven track record in enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting.
Expertise in configuring and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances.
Solid understanding of network capacity planning and performance monitoring.
CCNP / CCIE or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI.
Translate high-level design specifications into concrete firewall configurations.
Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution.
Prepare and execute rigorous change control and rollback procedures.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance via F5 integration.
Monitor post-deployment performance and maintain documentation for handover.
