Job summary

FinXL is seeking Senior Network Engineers to join our consulting team in Sydney. You will design, implement, and hand over critical networking constructs to support large-scale migration phases on a major infrastructure modernization program.

Role requires hands-on Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, APIC and F5 experience. Roles are onsite in Sydney with visa sponsorship and opportunities for visa takeover.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI and APIC environments.
• Proven track record deploying enterprise firewall policies.
• Experience configuring F5 GTM and LTM appliances.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI.
• Translate high-level designs into concrete firewall configurations.
• Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
• Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution.
• Prepare and execute rigorous change control and rollback procedures.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery via F5 integration.
• Monitor post-deployment performance and document handover.

FinXL is seeking a number of Senior Network Engineers to join our consulting team in Sydney. FinXL has several long-term engagements supporting one of our key banking clients on an infrastructure and technology modernisation program. In this key assignment, you will design, implement, and hand over critical networking constructs to support large-scale migration phases. Please note that these roles are strictly onsite, requiring you to be based in Sydney and hold a valid work visa.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI.
• Translate high-level design specifications into concrete firewall configurations.
• Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
• Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution.

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance via F5 integration.
• Monitor post-deployment performance and maintain documentation for handover.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, and APIC environments.
• Proven track record in enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in configuring and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances.
• Solid understanding of network capacity planning and performance monitoring.
• CCNP / CCIE or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded.
