Job summary

CareCone Group in Sydney, Australia is seeking an experienced F5 Developer/Engineer to design, implement and optimize F5 BIG-IP solutions in complex networks. You will work on LTM, GTM, WAF, and SSL offloading to deliver resilient, high-performance traffic management.

The role requires hands-on F5 expertise, automation via IaC and DevOps processes, and collaboration with security teams. You will support migrations, DR planning and incident response, with a focus on reliability and scalable

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM in large-scale environments.
• Experience with F5 DNS / GTM and Advanced WAF / ASM.
• Expertise in Load Balancing, SSL Offloading and Traffic Management.
• Hands-on with iRules, Health Monitoring and Certificate Management.
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
• L3 support, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
• F5 implementation, migration and transformation projects.
• Minimum 8+ years Network Security / Application Delivery.
• Minimum 5+ years hands-on F5 engineering experience.
• Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto or Cisco.
• Infrastructure as Code / Automation; DevOps & CI/CD.
• F5 or relevant networking/security certifications.
