Job summary

Precision Sourcing Australia is seeking a Lead/Senior Data Analyst with a governance mindset to partner with the business in Sydney. You will shape a greenfield data/AI strategy, design data governance, and embed analytics across the organisation.

From discovery to benefits realisation, you will drive data modelling, SQL, Power BI, and CRM data (HubSpot) initiatives, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery when required, and influencing senior stakeholders.

Job description

This is a business-facing role where you will help the business make sense of and use its data to drive outcomes and embed an AI capability to streamline output.

• Lead the discussions and design of a greenfield technology roadmap
• Design and embed data governance, stewardship, quality & standards
• Lead the AI enablement agenda from practical strategy to use case identification
• Guide the structure and governance of CRM and shared organisational data
• Work directly with the business to turn ideas into practical data solutions
• Lead initiatives from discovery through to implementation and benefits realisation
• Experience driving Data Analytics & Governance transformations
• Ability to lead structure and design, not just administer a platform
• Strong business analytics experience, comfortable with unstructured data
• Expert with stakeholder management & influencing senior leaders
• Willing to get hands-on when needed to keep momentum on strategy
• Experienced in Data Modelling, SQL, Power BI, CRM systems (ideally HubSpot)
• Anything else technology wise is a huge plus

For this role we are NOT looking at a high level Engineering guru, or machine learning expert, or even someone who is looking to be on the tools designing platforms day in day out.

This is an opportunity for a Lead or Senior Data Analyst/Governance professional to make a mark for themselves and help level up their management/strategy experience.

On the flip side, this could be of interest for a Head of Analytics, or Digital Analytics who has been out of work for longer than expected and wants to get back into a role where you can have full autonomy around driving a greenfield data/technology strategy.

Our client is a not-for-profit operating within critical infrastructure sectors and salary packaging is lower than standard market rates due to being a NFP.

This is a Sydney based position, requires an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen who is comfortable working onsite in Sydney CBD/surrounding areas 3 days per week.
