Job summary

Peoplebank seeks an experienced AI/ML Delivery Lead to join a government AI and Data Science portfolio in Sydney. You will coordinate delivery of AI, ML, data science and generative AI initiatives across multiple workstreams, working with skilled technical teams and senior stakeholders to drive real business value.

Lead governance, assurance and Responsible AI activities while ensuring production-readiness of pilots and POCs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering or coordinating AI, ML or data science initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data science/data engineering environments.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with governance and assurance in technology environments.
• AWS or other public-cloud experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple AI and data science workstreams.
• Establish consistent delivery practices, structure and momentum across teams.
• Progress POCs and pilots towards production where appropriate.
• Coordinate data scientists, engineers and business analysts.
• Identify risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
• Support AI governance, assurance and Responsible AI activities.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced AI/ML Delivery Lead to join a growing AI and Data Science portfolio within a government agency. You’ll coordinate the delivery of AI, machine learning, data science and generative AI initiatives, working closely with highly skilled technical teams and senior stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
