Job summary

Citco is seeking a Senior Vice President for Private Assets Fund Accounting in Sydney to lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering fund accounting services to private assets clients. You will blend people leadership with client engagement and operational oversight to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent outputs.

You will coach VPs and accounting professionals, oversee delivery against timelines and quality standards, and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted contact.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in private assets fund accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
• Experience leading teams in a fund accounting or financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of VPs and accounting professionals.
• Oversee fund accounting delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted point of contact.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Share knowledge and support team development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational initiatives.
• Support business development activities, including client discussions and presentations.
