Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager

Zusammenfassung

Citco is seeking an Account Manager for Private Equity on a 1-year contract in Sydney. You will manage a portfolio of PE funds, supervise a small accounting team and act as the day-to-day client contact. Collaboration with Investor Relations and auditors is essential.

The role requires a strong accounting background in financial services, IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and leadership experience. Excellent communication and Microsoft Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or studying for a professional qualification (CA, CPA or ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years’ accounting experience in the financial services sector, particularly Private Equity, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experienced in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.
• Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Motivated, bright and diligent with deadlines; team player with supervisory experience (3–4 years).
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• User experience with enterprise accounting systems; Investran highly desirable.
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting and private equity fund administration.

Aufgaben

• Maintain books and records and calculate fund Net Asset Values.
• Coordinate and review financial statements and reports, including monthly/quarterly metrics.
• Coordinate and review calculations of carried interest/performance/incentive fees.
• Coordinate and review capital calls, distributions and equalizations.
• Coordinate and review partner capital account statements.
• Coordinate processing of payments and other transactions.
• Supervise staff and sign off on work; act as primary day-to-day client contact.
• Work with Investor Relations to respond to investor queries and notices.
• Maintain relationships with investors, managers, banks and auditors; assist auditors.
• Participate in client presentations; monitor compliance with Service Level Agreement.
