Job summary

Citco Fund Services Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Account Manager - Private Equity for a 1-year contract. You will oversee the administration of a portfolio of private equity funds, working closely with the Vice President and supervising a small team of accountants.

Key duties include maintaining books and records, calculating NAVs, coordinating financial statements, reviewing carried interest and capital calls, and liaising with investors, auditors, banks and managers to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or similar with professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) in progress.
• Minimum 6 years’ accounting experience in financial services, Private Equity, asset management or fund administration.
• Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge and consolidation experience under IFRS.
• Experience reviewing general ledger and financial statements.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books/records and calculate fund NAVs.
• Coordinate/review financial statements and monthly/quarterly reporting metrics.
• Oversee carried interest/performance/incentive fee calculations.
• Coordinate investor capital calls, distributions, and allocations.
• Supervise staff and sign off on work.
• Primary day-to-day client contact and investor queries.
