Mary Go Sushi in Maryborough seeks a hardworking Sushi Chef and Chef de Partie (fry cook) for a full-time, on-site role. Availability Tue–Thu 9:30am–7:30pm and Fri–Sat 9:30am–9pm is required, with immediate start.

You will prepare fresh seafood and beef, cook sushi rice, and handle mise en place. Nigiri/Gunkan uses a machine; maki is made by hand.

Qualifications

• Food safety certificate required.
• Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery mandatory.
• At least 2 years of knife skills and sushi rolling experience.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a hardworking sushi chef and chef de partie (fry cook) to join our team in our brand new conveyor style Sushi Restaurant in Maryborough.

The position is full time based and must be available all times tue-thur 9:30am-7:30pm fri-sat 9:30am-9pm. The position is available immediately.

Your job role as Sushi Chef will include making

All fresh seafood and beef preperation.

Making Sushi rice, and all mise en place.

We have a Nigiri/Gunkan ball machine but all maki will be made by hand.

Minimum application requirements are food safety certificate, cert 4 in commercial cookery and at least 2yrs experience knife skills and sushi rolling.

Accomodation is available, price negotiable including power and internet if looking to relocate to the area for the position.
