Job summary

Calleo is seeking a Data Entry Support Officer (APS 3) to assist with a high-volume pen-and-paper survey project. You will manually extract data and transpose it into approved electronic formats with strict adherence to business rules and data dictionaries.

The role requires on-site work in Canberra ACT, a Negative Vetting 1 clearance, and contributes to quality assurance and reporting on processing volumes and completion rates for a government project.

Qualifications

• High-volume data entry experience
• Strong data quality checking and validation
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 apps
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information per privacy and security requirements

Responsibilities

• Review handwritten and printed survey responses for accuracy
• Extract relevant fields from forms using business rules and data dictionaries
• Identify incomplete, illegible, or ambiguous responses and escalate
• Perform self-checking and peer-review quality assurance
• Reconcile discrepancies and correct errors
• Report on volumes processed and completion rates
• Escalate emerging issues as appropriate
