World Surf League in Coolangatta, Queensland is seeking an experienced Events Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution of our world-class surfing events, from start to finish. You will oversee logistics and on-site operations, coordinate with venue managers, sponsors and volunteers, and manage budgets and timelines to deliver events on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in large-scale event operations
• Experience in sports or entertainment industry
• Proven track record managing complex events, budgets and stakeholders
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Australian work rights required

Responsabilités

• Oversee logistical planning and on-site operations for World Surf League events
• Coordinate with venue managers, sponsors, and volunteers to deliver exceptional experiences for athletes, spectators, and partners
• Manage event budgets, timelines and resources to ensure events are delivered on time and on budget
• Develop key event safety plans
• Troubleshoot and solve on-site issues and implement contingency plans
• Continuously seek improvements to event operations with innovative solutions
