Direct Care Resources seeks Support Workers to assist participants across multiple Brisbane-area locations, with travel to Burpengary, Geebung, Bald Hills, Warner, North Lakes and Mango Hill. With over 28 years of experience, Direct Care Resources is a trusted care provider in South-East Queensland. We prioritise the health, safety, and well-being of our participants, specialising in support for SIL (Supported Independent Living) houses and Child Protection Services.
As a Support Worker, you will assist participants with challenging behaviours, support individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disabilities, and provide compassionate care to vulnerable children and young people under Child Protection Orders.

You naturally demonstrate empathy, compassion, patience, confidence, and the ability to set boundaries. You are proactive, adaptable, and able to think clearly under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and reporting.
The successful candidate will also have flexible availability, including sleepovers, overnights, weekends, and varied shift times.
