Job summary

Inspired Living QLD Pty Ltd in Toowoomba, Queensland is seeking Participant Mentors to support people living with psychosocial needs. You will help participants build independence, resilience and daily living skills while working toward personalized NDIS goals.

About Us:

We’re expanding our team and looking for Participant Mentors who are consistent with a curiosity to explore and grow in an trauma-informed space. This role is about more than just support. It is about walking alongside participants as they build independence, develop skills, and improving overall quality of life.

You have lived experience and are ready to turn your passion for helping others into a rewarding career.

About the Role:

We currently are building teams to support people living with Psychosocial needs to;

• Build independence, resilience and daily living skills
• Work toward their NDIS goals with person‑centred support
• Strengthen emotional wellbeing and community participation
• Grow within a trauma‑informed support environment

You will also receive training, mentoring, and ongoing development to grow and be confident in your role.

What We’re Looking For:

Individuals from all different backgrounds and experience:

You’ll excel if you have:

• A genuine and professional approach
• A willingness to learn and be trained on the job
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills
• The ability to work independently and within a supportive team
• A commitment to regular hours (30+ hours/week) across a 24/7 roster
• A desire to help others build resilience and improve their quality of life

You’ll need:

• Ability to demonstrate a positive, compassionate, resilient attitude
• A current Valid Driver’s License
• Sole-use of a Reliable vehicle
• The willingness and ability to obtain your Paid Yellow card and National Police check prior to commencing
• Australian New Zealand Right to Work
