Job summary

Care FNQ in Cairns is seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. This hands-on role provides essential support to adults with physical and intellectual disabilities across group homes, respite care, in-home support, and community activities.

Flexible work schedules, including weekends and sleepovers, allow you to balance work and life while receiving weekly pay and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• A current driver's license is required.
• A reliable vehicle is required for community support and transport.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.
• Blue Card (Working with Children) required.
• NDIS Worker’s Clearance (Yellow Card) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to adults with disabilities in group homes, respite care, in-home support, and community activities.
• Assist participants with lifestyle and leisure programs to promote independence.
• Flexible work schedules including weekends and sleepovers.
