Job summary

CPL in Cairns is hiring casual and permanent part-time Support Workers to help people live independently and engage in daily life. You’ll work in a respectful, person-centred team that supports community participation across shifts.

Qualifications

• A passion for people and a focus on great customer service.

• Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check (we can help you get these).
• Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.
• Help with meals, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Support someone to participate in the community.
• Attend appointments or social activities.
• Provide medication support.
• Assist with mobility (including hoists where required).

We’re looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Cairns and surrounding suburbs to join our team. Whether you’ve done this before or you’re new and passionate about helping others — we’d love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

No two days are the same —you’llbe supporting people to live independently and do the things that matter to them.

This could include:

• Helping with meals,cleaningand daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community
• Attending appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assistingwith mobility (including hoists whererequired)
