Job summary

Harbour At Home in Coffs Harbour is seeking a qualified Support Worker to provide compassionate care to aged care clients in Southern Coffs Harbour. Shifts run Mon-Fri, 7am–7pm, with a preference for evening work.

You will support clients in personal care, social activities, and transport to appointments, enabling them to live the life they choose in their local community. You will work autonomously and as part of a team to meet client needs, demonstrating empathy, organization, and strong

Qualifications

• Evidence of Cert 3 Individual Support or aged care qualification.
• Current driver's licence and insured vehicle.
• National criminal history/police check issued in the last 3 months.
• Aged care experience preferred.

About The Role

We're looking for a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate care to our aged care clients in Southern Coffs Harbour.

The shifts will be from Coffs to Woolgoolga, Mon-Fri. (between 7am-7pm; willing to work evenings ideally).

You Will Support Our Clients In a Range Of Services To Ensure They Can Continue To Live The Life They Choose In Their Local Community, Including

• Assist clients with personal care support
• Provide social support and community engagement
• Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments
• Work autonomously and within a team to meet client needs

About You

You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organized and adaptable to change. You are looking for stable, flexible and fulfilling work.
