Job summary

Harbour at Home in NSW is seeking a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate care to aged care clients in Southern Coffs Harbour.

Shifts run from Coffs to Woolgoolga, Mon-Fri, 7am-7pm, with occasional evenings. You will support clients with personal care, social engagement, and transport to appointments.

Ideal candidates hold a Cert 3 in Individual Support, have aged care experience, a current driver's license with insured vehicle, and a recent national police check.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 Individual Support or similar aged care qualification.
• Current national criminal history/police check within last 3 months.
• Aged care experience preferred but not required for entry-level roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily activities.
• Provide social support and community engagement.
• Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments.

About The Role

We're looking for a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate care to our aged care clients in Southern Coffs Harbour.

The shifts will be from Coffs to Woolgoolga, Mon-Fri. (between 7am-7pm; willing to work evenings).

You will support our clients in a range of services to ensure they can continue to live the life they choose in their local community, including:

• Assist clients with personal care support
• Provide social support and community engagement
• Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments
• Work autonomously and within a team to meet client needs

About You

You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organized and adaptable to change. You are looking for stable, flexible and fulfilling work.
