Job summary

NSW Home Support Services in Coffs Harbour NSW is seeking a qualified and experienced Support Worker to deliver compassionate aged care at clients' homes across Southern Coffs Harbour. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 7am-7pm, with some evenings and local travel by car.

You will support clients with personal care, social engagement and transport to appointments, working autonomously and as part of a team to help people live independently in their community.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• National police check within last 3 months.

About The Role

We're looking for a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate care to our aged care clients in Southern Coffs Harbour.

The shifts will be from Coffs to Woolgoolga, Mon-Fri. (between 7am-7pm; willing to work evenings).

You will support our clients in a range of services to ensure they can continue to live the life they choose in their local community, including:

• Assist clients with personal care support
• Provide social support and community engagement
• Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments
• Work autonomously and within a team to meet client needs

About You

You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organized and adaptable to change. You are looking for stable, flexible and fulfilling work.
