Job summary

Harbour at Home is seeking a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate aged care to clients in Grafton, Laurence, Maclean, Townsend with shifts through the week (morning & evening).

You will support clients to live independently in their local community, including personal care, social activities, and transport to appointments, working both autonomously and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Individual Support (or aged care qualification) is required.
• Current driver’s license with reliable vehicle.
• National criminal history/police check (issued in last 3 months).
• First Aid & CPR certificates required.
• Aged care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We're looking for a qualified & experienced Support Worker to provide compassionate care to our aged care clients in Grafton, Laurence, Maclean, Townsend; the shifts will be through the week. (morning & evening).

You will support our clients in a range of services to ensure they can continue to live the life they choose in their local community, including:

• Assist clients with personal care support


• Provide social support and community engagement


• Transport clients to shopping and medical appointments


• Work autonomously and within a team to meet client needs

About You

You have a caring nature and are a clear and empathetic communicator who is able to build rapport effectively. You can work both autonomously and in a team environment, are extremely organized and adaptable to change. You are looking for stable, flexible and fulfilling work.
