Job summary

Claust is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to empower people with disabilities to live their best lives by providing personalised support that enables them to thrive in their communities.

You'll assist with personal care, household tasks and advocacy, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement tailored support plans. This role requires flexibility to cover a 24/7 roster, including passive overnights.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent); students welcomed.
• Current Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Check & Working with Children Check.
• First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 roster including passive overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide support with household duties including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and choices are respected.
