Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking passionate carers to support clients living at home in the Hills area. You will travel between visits, assist with daily tasks, transport to appointments, and help with meal preparation in a varied, rewarding role.

Permanent part-time or casual roles are available with flexible hours. The not-for-profit employer offers competitive pay, superannuation, km reimbursement, and travel time, supporting growth and care across our community.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australians.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Reliable team player.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential).

Responsabilités

• Assist with day-to-day in-home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan.
• Transport to appointments and shopping.
• Meal preparation.
• Social support or respite for family/carers.
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).

• Hourly rate from $34.50 to $37.00 + superannuation + $1.11 per km

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Hills area in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Day to day role looks like:

• Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australian's in the community
• To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• To be a reliable team player
• To have an understanding of workplace health and safety
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
• An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
