Claro Disability Services in Ipswich is seeking a part-time disability support worker. You’ll provide person-centred care, assist with mobility and daily tasks, and help clients engage in meaningful activities aligned with their goals.

You’ll work with families and clinical teams, adapt to changing needs, and uphold cultural humility and consent. The role offers flexible shifts, paid induction, and travel between client sites with competitive hourly pay.

What you’ll do

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision‑making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being
