Claro Disability Services in Greenfield Park, NSW, seeks a compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centered care to clients with complex needs in community settings. The role offers flexible casual shifts and opportunities to make a real impact.

• You’ll team up with families, medical professionals, and other support workers to keep everything running smoothly.
• Varying and predictable shifts and you’ll build genuine relationships, not just checklists

Roster:

• Tuesday 1-3pm
• Wednesday 8-10am and 1-3pm
• Friday 8-10am

Additional shifts available across a 7-day roster

What you’ll do

• Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
• Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
• Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
• Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
• Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
• Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being
