Job summary

Priority Hire in NSW is seeking a Disability Support Worker to deliver person-centred support to participants with complex needs across SIL homes and allied services. You will work with families, carers, therapists and team members to ensure quality care and outcomes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility and behavioural support, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and maintaining accurate shift documentation. Travel to multiple SIL homes within NSW is required.

Title: Disability Support Worker
Location: Wollongong & Nowra NSW
Reports to: Team Leader, Service Manager

About the Role

This role is focused on delivering compassionate, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours for a registered NDIS Provider providing Supported Independent Living, Specialist Disability Housing and support services throughout NSW, VIC, ACT and QLD. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service, ensuring that every person we support receives the quality care they deserve.

About the Position

• Availability: 4-6 days per week, 8 hour shifts. Consistent work on offer dependent on your availability!
• Requirements: Must have Australian Drivers License and full comprehensive car Insurance; ABN; NDIS Training modules.
• Location: Must be willing to travel to our numerous Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes within the applied locations.
• Ideal Applicants: Support workers, mental health certified, nurses, social/aged/youth workers, people looking to gain experience.
