Job summary

HomeCaring is seeking a reliable Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centered support to NDIS and Aged Care clients across the Ulladullah, St Georges Basin to Nowra Shoalhaven Heads area. You will build rapport, support independence, and bring warmth and dignity to everyday living.

You will assist with personal care, daily living tasks, accompany clients to appointments and social activities, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in NDIS or Aged Care.
• Certificate III or higher in aged care.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centered care per care plan.
• Safely transport the client using own vehicle.
• Support client in social engagement and attending appointments.
• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with household tasks, cleaning and meal preparation.
• Document service activities and shift notes.
• Support participant in achieving individual NDIS goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centered support to NDIS and Aged Care clients in the Ulladullah, St Georges Basin to Nowra Shoalhaven Heads areas. We are seeking a support worker who will build strong rapport and bring consistency. You'll provide disability and social support; helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high quality and timely care support to the client as directed by Home Caring, and in accordance with their care plan
• Safely transport the client using your own vehicle
• Support client in getting out for social engagement, activities and in attending appointments
• Provide personal care and daily living (domestic) assistance
• Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation)
• Document service activities that support service outcomes
• Support participant in achieving individual NDIS goals
• Maintain accurate documentation (including reporting) and shift notes

About you

Professional experience in the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors. Minimum 1 year experience and Cert 3 as a minimum requirement

Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances

Demonstrated experience providing compassionate, person-centred support to individuals living with dementia

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working with Children Check

Current First Aid certificate and current CPR certificate

Current Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance

The right to work in Australia

Availability for minimum of 12 hours per week
