The Burnie Safe Space is a short-term accommodation centre in Tasmania for anyone experiencing homelessness on the state’s north-west coast. The Safe Space Program provides safe shelter at night with emotional well being and physical support to those who use the program.
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Support Worker to provide support to participants of The Safe Space under the direction of case managers and team leader to assist in achieving set outcomes.
Reporting to the Senior Case Manager, this is a casual position based in Burnie, Tasmania. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 3.
