Job summary

Northcott in Albury, NSW is seeking multiple casual Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred disability support across accommodation and community services. You will assist with daily tasks, community access, and safe care, working across mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ disability sector experience.
• Lived experience of disability strongly encouraged.
• Experience supporting customers with complex care needs (catheter & bowel care).
• Experience in Supported Independent Living and personal care including meal time management.
• Experience managing behaviours of concern and following medication management protocols.
• Knowledge of manual handling, wheelchairs, and safe transport including van safety.
• Ability to stay calm, think quickly, and provide steady support.
• Positive attitude and strong team spirit.

About The Role

We are currently seeking multiple Support Workers to join our dedicated team on a casual basis in Albury. These roles involve working across our supported accommodation and community services providing high-quality, person-centred support to our customers.

You will support customers to build skills and maintain independence by providing respectful, person-centred care, using safe manual handling techniques, assisting with daily tasks and community access, and fostering positive relationships that help them achieve their goals.
