Program Kaartdijin are seeking to establish a pool of Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of June, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Program Kaartdijin (the Program) has been established to develop a functionally fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current School Information System (SIS) and include additional information capture and reportability. The Program focuses on providing short term solutions as well as a longer-term solution that meets the operational needs of schools and the reporting and management needs of the Department at large.

Phase 2 deployment started in 2025, introducing capabilities for managing enrolments and finance. Timetabling will start in 2026. As a school transitions to Phase 2, their access to SIS Classic will move to read only.
