Department of Education Western Australia is seeking a Senior Corporate Services Consultant – School Support to lead and mentor staff during Kaartdijin deployment. The role focuses on guiding schools through the transition to the new finance system and associated processes from Oct 2026 onwards.
Based in East Perth, the role emphasizes practical guidance, problem solving, and building staff confidence with Compass and CiA across metropolitan and regional schools.
We have 4x 12 month fixed term, full-time positions commencing October 2026 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency
Program Kaartdijin (the Program) has been established to develop a functionally fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current School Information System (SIS) and adding contemporary features that provide schools with better quality data and oversight. The Program focuses on providing solutions that meets the operational needs of schools and the reporting and management needs of the Department at large. The Program’s vision is to provide a modern administrative and finance solution connecting people, processes and systems for school communities now and into the future.
As a Senior Corporate Services Consultant – School Support, you will be a key source of support, providing responsive guidance and mentoring to new users of the Kaartdijin solution.
The Program is commencing Phase 2 deployment of the solution, which will include the new integrated finance system. Over the coming months we will be deploying the new system and financial processes to schools, providing comprehensive training and support for each school along the way. To be part of this significant venture, you will be an experienced and enthusiastic leader and champion for Kaartdijin. You’ll bring your knowledge and extensive school-based experience, while also being excited to learn the new system, understand new business processes and share your learning with others.
Drawing on your school-based experience, you will work alongside staff in newly deployed schools as they begin to use the new finance system You will provide practical guidance, mentoring and peer support as staff build their confidence and capability using the new system, facilitating their access to a range of supports that the Program has in place for schools. As the successful applicant, you will be confident with financial management practices, enjoy helping others to build their capacity and offer practical solutions.
