Job summary

Anglicare Central Queensland in Biloela seeks a Support Facilitator for a part-time fixed-term role. The position offers $46.70 p/hr plus superannuation and salary sacrifice, 38 hours per fortnight, and a focus on assertive outreach and psychosocial support for highly vulnerable participants.

Responsibilities include collaborating with people in crisis and their carers, delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented support, and arranging referrals to community services as required.

About therole:

We arecurrently seeking Support Facilitator to join our team in Biloela.Our Support Facilitator provides assertive outreach, responsive andtimely psychosocial support to highly vulnerable participants, whohave experienced suicide attempts or suicidalcrisis.

What will atypical day look like?

• Collaborate withpeople experiencing a suicidial crisis or who have attemptedsuicide, along with family members and/or formal or informalcarers
• Provide supportthat is proactive, sustained, persistent, trauma informed,recovery oriented and strengths based
• Make or advocatefor referral to community-based services

MandatoryRequirements:

• Certificate IVlevel qualifications in a Mental Health, Peer Work, Alcohol andother Drugs or similar related field.
