Anglicare Central Queensland Limited | Rockhampton seeks an experienced Coordinator: Quality & Safety to lead our quality, compliance and safety systems in Rockhampton. This full-time fixed-term role drives improvements while supporting person-centred services and staff wellbeing.

You will champion risk management, audits and continued accreditation, building staff capability and a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a quality and safety leadership role, preferably within community sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards (ISO, WH&S, clinical governance).
• Demonstrated success in leading improvement initiatives and managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the Quality and Safety Framework.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, accreditation and corrective actions.
• Identify risks, lead incident investigations, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and team collaboration.
• Promote strong safety culture and deliver training to build staff capability.
• Provide expert advice and mentoring to senior leaders.
• Maintain clear reporting, risk registers and stakeholder communication.

Whatwill a typical day look like?
