Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a Service Supervisor on the Sunshine Coast to lead a team of Service Technicians and drive safe, efficient service delivery. You will coordinate workflows, ensure quality, and maintain strong customer relationships while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification (Diesel Fitter preferred), supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter preferred) and a current driver’s licence.
• Experience supervising or leading a service or trade-based team.
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
• Solid organisational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Service Technicians, setting clear expectations and creating a positive, professional team environment.
• Coordinate daily workflows, labour planning and job allocations to maximise utilisation and meet customer commitments.
• Be accountable for service quality, safety performance, WIP, timesheets and job completion.
• Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders and technical support to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Monitor warranty work, field campaigns and compliance with policies, procedures and HSE standards.
• Coach, develop and upskill your team to close performance gaps and build capability for the future.

Right now, our Sunshine Coast branch is on the lookout for an experienced Service Supervisor who knows how to balance people leadership, operational excellence and customer focus.

What you'll be doing

As our Service Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping our service operation running smoothly, safely and efficiently. You'll:

• Lead and support a team of Service Technicians, setting clear expectations and creating a positive, professional team environment.
• Coordinate daily workflows, labour planning and job allocations to maximise utilisation and meet customer commitments.

What we are looking for

• A self-starter with proven experience supervising or leading a service or trade-based team.
• Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter preferred) and a current driver's licence.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with customers at all levels.
• A safety-first mindset and a commitment to doing things the right way.
• Solid organisational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and service management systems.
