Job summary

Macmahon in Greenbushes, WA, seeks an experienced finance professional to lead the Commercial team. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to deliver clear commercial insights for project decisions.

You will collaborate with operational leaders and senior management to ensure strong financial outcomes and continuous improvement across site operations, while aligning with governance and reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field is required.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and financial modelling is essential.
• Experience with commercial contracts, models, and contract interpretation is preferred.
• Ability to write formal correspondence and manage dispute processes with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract performance analysis and support commercial negotiations.
• Lead and coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring effective cost control and capital management.
• Manage monthly financial reporting and close processes, delivering accurate and timely insights.
• Conduct analysis of improvement opportunities and value creation across site operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance, regulatory, and reporting obligations.
• Coordinate and report on cost saving initiatives set by the business.
• Facilitate and support meetings with external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present financial reports, presentations and technical analyses.

About the Role

You will play a critical role in financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while delivering clear commercial insights to support operational decision-making. Leading the Greenbushes Commercial team, you will work closely with operational leaders, corporate finance and senior management to ensure strong financial outcomes and continuous improvement.

• Roster: 5:2, 4:3 | Monday to Friday, Monday to Thrusday
