Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a Maintenance Plumber for the Nifty Copper Project in the Pilbara region. The role covers camp and mine-site water supply, wastewater and gas fitting, ensuring compliance with statutory laws. FIFO from Perth on an 8:6 roster with a competitive benefits package.

You will work with skilled teams, focusing on safe, efficient site operation, and coordinating contractors while maintaining plant reliability and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mining maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
• SAP Maintenance Management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production targets are met and plant availability is maintained.
• Supervise day-to-day maintenance and project execution on site.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, environmental and statutory compliance.
• Conduct field risk assessments and support hazard controls.
• Monitor quality, timelines and contractor performance.
• Support procurement of materials, plant and equipment.

About the Role

Maintenance Plumber working at the Nifty Copper Project is to maintain all camp and mine site Non-Processing Infrastructure water supply, wastewater and gas fitting in compliance with all statutory laws

• Roster: 8:6 FIFO EX Perth

What You’ll Bring

• Plumbing trade certificate
• Mining maintenance experience of 2+ years
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure in a production environment
• SAP Maintenance Management System experience highly regarded
• Demonstrated diagnostics and trouble shooting ability
• Computer literacy and sound numeracy/literacy skills
