Job summary

Atom Resources is seeking a General Superintendent to lead on-site operations for major FRP, substation and reinforced concrete projects across Australia. You will oversee multiple crews and subcontractors, ensuring safe, on-time delivery with high quality standards.

Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in temporary works, formwork systems and large multi-disciplinary teams, and be a strong communicator guiding project stakeholders in remote or rostered environments.

Our client is a highly regarded contractor delivering complex FRP, reinforced concrete and substation construction projects across Australia. With a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead site operations and drive successful project outcomes.

This role is ideally suited to a hands‑on construction leader who thrives in challenging environments, has extensive experience managing temporary works and complex formwork systems, and is recognised as a highly effective communicator capable of leading large multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role

As General Superintendent, you will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of major construction works, overseeing multiple crews, supervisors and subcontractors across large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Manage supervisors, foremen and subcontractors across multiple work fronts.
• Oversee complex FRP and reinforced concrete structures.
• Coordinate and manage temporary works and advanced formwork systems.

About You

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent on major civil, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
• Strong background in substation construction, reinforced concrete and FRP works.
• Extensive knowledge of temporary works, falsework and complex formwork systems.
• Excellent planning, sequencing and resource management skills.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading large site teams in remote or rostered project environments.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and project delivery requirements.
