Job summary

Whittens, a family-owned civil construction contractor in NSW, is recruiting 2/1 FIFO FRP Superintendents for large-scale FRP infrastructure and underground tunnel lining projects. You will influence project delivery and foster a memorable culture on site, working with self-perform teams across NSW.

The role targets senior professionals with 10+ years in supervision/construction management, safety leadership, and experience with DOKA formwork systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent and/or Construction Manager overseeing FRP infrastructure projects.
• Underground/tunnel lining infrastructure experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with DOKA/travelling formwork systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee self-perform FRP infrastructure projects and ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Lead planning, monitoring and documentation across site activities.
• Promote safety and environmental leadership within the team.

Your Opportunity

We are recruiting 2/1 FIFO FRP Superintendents with experience in large scale FRP Infrastructure and/or Underground tunnel lining projects and with a genuine interest to positively influence project delivery and promote a memorable culture at Whittens.

About You

To Be Successful, You Will Have the Following

• At least 10 years+ experience as a Superintendent and/or Construction Manager overseeing self-perform FRP infrastructure projects
• Underground/ Tunnel lining infrastructure - Highly regarded
• Experience working for a Civil Contractor - A must
• Experience with DOKA / Travelling Formwork systems - An advantage
• Excellent planning, monitoring and documentation skills
• Demonstrated safety and environmental leadership behaviour
• Self-starter, with well-developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
