CGC Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Civil Engineer for a Tier 1 contractor on a major Queensland renewable energy project. You will join a 2/1 FIFO roster and focus on day-to-day site engineering and subcontractor management of major FRP/concrete packages on a landmark project.

To be considered, you should hold a Civil Engineering degree, have 2–3 years' post-graduate experience in Australia, and be ready to start within a week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering major concrete/structural packages.
• Strong site-based engineering experience.
• Availability to commence within 1 week.

Responsabilités

• Managing subcontractors and supporting delivery of major concrete packages.
• Day-to-day site engineering and technical duties.
• Coordinating FRP works from formwork to concrete pours.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitoring construction progress, quality and compliance.
• Working closely with Supervisors, Project Engineers and the project team.
• Resolving technical and construction issues on site.
• Supporting project delivery in a fast-paced construction environment.

Site Engineer | Major Renewable Energy Project | Tier 1 Contractor

$600-$700/day + Super | 2/1 FIFO | 5-Month Contract | Immediate Start

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 Contractor delivering one of Queensland's most exciting and innovative renewable energy projects.

This is a bespoke, first-of-its-kind renewable energy project in QLD, offering the opportunity to work on a landmark project that will help shape the future of the renewable energy sector.

We're looking for a driven and motivated Civil Engineer with 2-3 years' post-graduate experience in Australia, with a proven background delivering major concrete structure packages.

The Role

Working on a 2/1 FIFO roster, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day site engineering requirements, with a particular focus on the delivery and subcontractor management of major FRP package.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing subcontractors and supporting the delivery of major concrete packages
• Day-to-day site engineering and technical duties
• Coordinating FRP works from formwork and reinforcement through to concrete pours
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Monitoring construction progress, quality and compliance
• Working closely with Supervisors, Project Engineers and the wider project team
• Resolving technical and construction issues on site
• Supporting project delivery in a fast-paced construction environment

About You

We're looking for a Civil Engineer who is hands-on, driven and keen to take the next step in their career.

To be considered, you'll have:

• Civil Engineering degree
• 2-3 years' post-graduate experience in Australia
• Proven experience delivering major concrete/structural packages
• Strong site-based engineering experience
• Experience managing or coordinating subcontractors
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, motivated and solutions-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively within a high-performing project team
• Availability to commence within 1 week

Experience working on bridges, tunnels or other major structural/concrete projects will be highly regarded.
