Job summary

Thredbo is seeking a guest-focused Front Office team member to join EVT Limited at Thredbo Alpine Hotel and Apartments. You will greet guests, check them in, manage reservations, assist with luggage and handle special F&B event bookings, while answering general resort enquiries.

Outside normal hours you will be the knowledge keeper for the resort, supporting the information centre’s daily operations, ticketing, apartments, and National Parks passes. Join EVT’s wide network for career growth.

Qualifications

• Hold a current, valid & unrestricted C class Manual Drivers licence (Required).
• Experienced in hotel reservations, customer service or tourism (Desirable).
• Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities autonomously.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests, check them into the Thredbo Alpine Hotel, take hotel reservations, assist with luggage, handle special food & beverage event bookings and answer general resort enquiries.
• Outside of normal operating hours the Front Office team are the knowledge keepers for the resort, answering all after hours switchboard calls.
• Assisting in all aspects of the information centre’s daily operations, including assisting guests with enquiries of Thredbo and the local area, providing ticketing information, managing apartments, and assisting with National Parks passes.
• Provide safe, inclusive guest service and maintain strong knowledge of the resort in a fast-paced environment.
