Job summary

EVT Group in Thredbo is seeking a Conference, Events & Groups Executive to drive conference sales and support the Sales Manager in hitting revenue targets. You will coordinate and deliver conference, event and group business, working with clients and operations to maximise opportunities and deliver exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities include handling enquiries, preparing quotes, event orders, rooming lists and meals, plus monthly reporting and hosting famils and client visits.

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong customer service knowledge.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a sales role.

Job description

The Conference, Events & Groups Executive is responsible for driving conference sales supporting the Conference Sales & Business Development Manager in achieving revenue targets and departmental objectives. This role leads the coordination and delivery of conference, event and group business, working closely with clients and operational teams to maximise commercial opportunities and deliver exceptional experiences.

This role requires strong communication, organisational and relationship management skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities, develop existing client relationships and manage multiple events and stakeholders. The Executive will work collaboratively across the resort to ensure seamless delivery while driving continuous improvement, productivity and profitability.

Skills & Experience

• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Strong customer service knowledge
• Previous experience in the IvVy event management platform
• Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a sales role
