Job summary

CitiPower and Powercor is seeking a Substation Electrician to join our Bendigo depot. The role focuses on frontline execution of maintenance, installation and upgrades of electrical plant infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable supply and timely service delivery.

Ideal candidates have HV distribution experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues. The position emphasizes safety, planning and adherence to Australian standards.

Qualifications

• High voltage distribution knowledge and safe work practices.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrated team collaboration in field-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, fault find and repair primary/secondary station equipment.
• Test equipment and document maintenance results.
• Diagnose faults and apply repairs in substation environments.
• Operate cranes, EPV, forklifts and other plant in substations group workflows.
• Adhere to WHS and industry standards in all tasks.
