Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking an Engagement and Retention Leader within the Subscriptions Growth division to drive a comprehensive engagement engine that builds habitual connection, reduces churn and increases customer lifetime value across mastheads.

You will orchestrate long-term retention strategies, run experiments, and partner with marketing, editorial, technology and operations teams to deliver cohesive GTM plans and monitor performance against targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience driving engagement, retention, and subscription growth through data-driven marketing and consumer strategies.
• Strong financial literacy with ability to translate data into bottom-line impact.
• Hands-on proficiency with Miro, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics and complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute the long-term subscription retention vision, focusing on onboarding/reboarding and supporting digital product launches.
• Design and run experimentation roadmaps with A/B testing and insights to optimise the cancellation journey UX and identify growth opportunities.
• Identify high-risk churn segments and create automated, personalised multi-channel communication plans to build habitual subscriber connection.
• Partner with marketing, editorial, technology, operations and content teams to identify retention gaps and deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor, optimise, and report on campaign performance, daily active trends, and attrition metrics to meet performance targets.
