UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Subcontractor Manager to join our Perth team for a 6-month casual contract. You will lead engagement of third-party vendors for delivery phase projects, ensuring compliant and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities include tender management, contract drafting, delegation of authority, and day-to-day supply chain oversight, with a strong focus on stakeholder management and commercial acumen in the Australian construction sector.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Proven experience in contract administration within Australian construction/engineering sectors with focus on downstream subcontractor engagement.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a focus on stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of category management and supply chain coordination.

Responsabilités

• Procurement Support: assist development of procurement schedules with Project Managers.
• Tender Management: assist in development, evaluation, and award of subcontractor bids.
• Contract Drafting: prepare subcontract instruments with appropriate contract models.
• Delegation of Authority: develop business cases to secure approvals for subcontract frameworks.
• Negotiating terms: negotiate contractual/commercial terms with vendor focal points.
• Supply Chain Management: oversee day-to-day supply chain activities and relationships with subcontractors.
• Contract Handover: develop contract administration guides and handover processes to project teams.
