Job summary

The University of New England invites applications for the Course Advising Officer - Student Journey. Based in Armidale, this role provides a developmental course advising service, working with students to understand their programs, identify challenges, and implement strategies to support course completion and improve retention.

• Provide developmental course advising to students, focusing on understanding programs, identifying challenges and implementing strategies to support completion and retention.
• Collaborate with staff to develop, maintain and promote self-service course advising resources for students.
• Deliver advising in person, by phone, video and email, including group sessions for high-risk students.
• Support a student-centered approach and contribute to UNE’s equity and wellbeing initiatives.
